Mix Fight Championship 27 - LIVE from Frankfurt, Germany 07.12.2019

FightBox HD is proud to announce that Mix Fight Championship returns to live action on Saturday December 7th 2019, emanating from Frankfurt, Germany at 9:00 pm CET.

This unique event features two 4-Man WGP Tournaments in one night under kickboxing rules. In the first tournament, at heavyweight, Enver Sljivar meets Ismael Londt in the first semi-final fight. Londt is making his return to the ring after a lengthy layoff. It will be his first fight since 2017. In his career he holds victories over the likes of Rico Verhoeven, Freddy Kemayo and Hesdy Gerges. His opponent, Sljivar, is a five time kickboxing world champion. In the second semi-final fight UFC veteran James McSweeney returns to Mix Fight Championship to take on Murat Aygun. In McSweeney’s last kickboxing appearance at Mix Fight he knocked out Danyo Ilunga. Aygun also holds some impressive wins in the promotion including a victory over Tarik Khbabez at Mix Fight 20. The two semi-final winners will square off later in the evening for the MFC Heavyweight Title.

In the 4-Man Middleweight Championship Tournament, knockout artist Samir Al Mansouri faces Brice Kombou. This will be a classic battle between an aggressive power puncher and a methodical technical fighter. The second semi-final pits long time Mix Fight Championship fighter Sergej Braun against top Polish middleweight Lukasz Plawecki. Braun has competed in several Mix Fight tournaments, but has never walked out the winner. Is this the tournament where he finally wins it all? To do so he’ll have to go through Plawecki who has made a habit of collecting gold lately. In the last two years he has won seven world titles. He can win one more if he wins the tournament. The full fight card for the evening can be found below.
