KOK World Series - LIVE from Tallinn, Estonia 05.06.2021

FightBox is proud to announce that King of Kings, one of the most recognizable brands of kickboxing, will return to live action from Tallinn, Estonia on Saturday June, 5th 2021 starting at 5:00 pm CEST (6:00 pm in Estonia).

As the COVID-19 restrictions begin to loosen in Europe, KOK has headed back out on the road, internationally. The first stop of King of Kings was last month in Warsaw, Poland where they crowned a new World Heavyweight Champion, Michał Turyński. Now KOK is looking to strengthen its middleweight division where in Estonia a new Interim Middleweight Champion will be crowned.

The main event title fight will feature Estonia’s top middleweight Maxim Vorovski who faces Norway’s top middleweight Andreas Iverson in a five-round fight. Vorovski has been fighting for KOK since the promotion’s debut in Estonia back in 2015 and he always looks impressive. Now he gets the biggest opportunity of his career - a chance to capture KOK gold. But to do that, he will have to go through Iverson, a man who holds a victory over Erkan Varol in KOK, an accomplished veteran fighter and KOK promoter in Turkey.

The KOK middleweight division is really heating up right now with current champion Daniel Forsberg expected to defend the World Title against Kamil Ruta later this year. According to KOK rules, whoever wins the Interim Championship would have the right to face the winner of that fight for the title.

The fight card also features the international debut of KOK sensation Dovydas “Rimkenzo” Rimkus. During the pandemic, and even before, Rimkenzo’s meteoric rise to fame has been spectacular to watch. But how will he fare when he fights outside of his home country of Lithuania against a very tough Kristoffer Bjorkskog of Finland? You will have to tune in to find out.
