FightBox is proud to announce that Prometheus, Romania’s newest MMA and kickboxing promotion will debut live at 7:00 pm CEST (8:00 pm local time) on Thursday 22.07.2021.
Prometheus, the Titan god of fire, stole fire from the gods and gave it to the human race. Now the warriors bring the fire inside the Prometheus ring. Prometheus MMA and Kickboxing is Romania’s newest fight promotion and is looking to make an impact at their debut show this Thursday live on FightBox. The promotion is working in conjunction with Colosseum Tournament and presents eleven top-tier main card fights.
In the main event Maris “The Transylvanian Warrior” Ciprian takes on Nicolae Hanea under MMA rules. Ciprian is an MMA veteran with over 20 professional fights. His eight fight win streak with six finishes was broken in his last bout almost exactly one year ago. Now he is looking to get back on the winning track against a very tough prospective talent - the undefeated Nicolae Hantea of Moldova who has submitted all of his opponents thus far in his career. Also, in the headlining kickboxing bout Anghel Cardos faces Madalin Craciunica. Cardos is returning to the ring after a losing effort only one month ago. His opponent, on the other hand, has been away from the sport for some time and is looking to make a triumphant return. Both men are known for their incredible battles and are ranked as two of Romania’s top talents in their weight division. The full card for the evening can be found below.
