CFFC 43 - November 1st, on FightBox

November 1st will be a huge day for all fans of Mixed Martial Arts. That night four titles will be on the line at the Borgata Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. We will see four championships fights: Jonavin Webb (7-0) vs. Lyman Good (16-3) for the welterweight championship, Tim Williams (9-1) vs. Ron Stallings (12-5, 1NC) for the middleweight championship, Zu Anyanwu (7-2) vs. Plinio Cruz (6-5) for the heavyweight championship, and Anthony Durnell (14-4) vs. Jimmie Riviera (14-1) for the bantamweight championship. In addition, there will be seven other world-class fights. All this will take place during CFFC 43, which will be streamed live at http://www.fightboxlive.com.

Jonavin Webb, who is the current welterweight champion of Cage Fury Fighting Championship, faces a rather difficult task. Although the “Spyder” remains undefeated in professional MMA, he is headed for the biggest test of his career. Out of his last four bouts, Webb won an impressive three before the final bell, pleasing the fans with spectacular knockouts and submissions. A member of Renzo Gracie Jiu-jitsu, he is known for his expressive behavior which guarantees lots of emotions. His opponent is, above all, the first ever welterweight champion of another promotion, Bellator MMA. This is proof of his skills and determination. He has said that he will add another title to his collection on November 1st. Lyman Good has lost only three times so far and he won the last fight by KO in the first round so we are in for an interesting clash. Emotions will be high as both fighters put a lot of heart into their fights and do not give up easily. Thanks to Fightbox, you will have a chance to see that with your own eyes.

One of the co-main events will be another fight with the championship title up for grabs as Tim Williams will face Ron Stallings. Both fighters lost once in their last four fights. Williams lost against Dustin Jacoby over two years ago, while Stallings was defeated by Adlan Amogov in mid-2011. These fights, however, are in the past and both fighters have made huge progress in their careers since then. Williams won his last two fights before the final bell, forcing submissions from his opponents through arm triangle choke and rear naked choke. Since his last defeat, Stallings has won three fights: one by RNC, and two by knockout. The recent fights show that Stallings and Williams are motivated to score more victories and that they both like to finish before the bell. This means we are up for some big emotions at the highest competitive level.

Two championship bouts are obviously not enough for the organizers so we will also see a fight for the heavyweight title between Zu Anyanwu and Plinio Cruz. Anyanwu has recently won three fights in a row, including only one by decision. The other two wins came after impressive knockouts in the first round. His rival won his last fight against J.A. Dudley by arm bar, thus ending his losing streak of three losses in a row. Even though one of these fighters has a rather unimpressive record, he certainly has a strong will to fight. The fact that he won his last fight may be a sign of his MMA revival and he may take another step forward on November 1st. We can surely expect heavy blows, stand-up exchanges and an interesting ground game. Fans will be able to watch these and the other gladiators live on FightBOX HD!

That’s not all that is coming this Saturday. There will be one more championship fight in the lower weight category of -61 kilograms. The title will be decided between Jimmie Riviera and Anthony Durnell. This fight may go the full distance, giving us the opportunity to see both professionals display their perfect technique for long periods of time. Durnell won his last three fights but he has not been in the ring this year. His opponent has enjoyed an impressive streak of 12 wins in a row and has so far lost only once in his career. We can be sure that this fight will be full of dynamic moves and finesse typical of lower weight categories. As both Riviera and Durnell are highly motivated to get the title, we can expect a determined fight to the end.

FightBOX HD will also show seven other fights: Jordan Stiner (8-1) vs. Jon Delbrugge (5-1), Sergio Da Silva (3-5) vs. Evan Velez (6-2), Jared Platt (1-0) vs. Donta Wade (3-1), Robert Fabrizi (3-1) vs. Caleb McAllister (2-1), Ryan Patrovich (1-0) vs. Nick Willey (1-0), Ricky Bandejas (2-0) vs. Nerab Dvalishvili (1-1), and Justin Bonitatis (1-0) vs. TBA.

All MMA fans are in for a big treat, lots of emotions and heavy clashes on November 1st. It’s good to take a break from UFC and Bellator every now and then to see the events organized by other promotions. CFFC is also a big name in the sport and has repeatedly proven that it can fill the card with interesting fights. This time the matchmakers really stepped up. With as many as four championship fights, emotions will surely fly high. Polish fans will also be able to see all this action live thanks to http://www.fightboxlive.com where all fights will be streamed!
