King of Kings returned to live action on FightBox HD for the promotion’s first big event of 2019. The main focus of the evening was on the middleweight division with the main event being a number one contender’s fight for the KOK Middleweight Championship. At the moment the title is vacant, but there is a title fight scheduled for May in Finland.
At the moment it looks like Latvia’s Raimonds Aukstikalnis will face Finland's Daniel Forsberg for the title. Aukstikalins is currently ranked number one in King of Kings and won the Middleweight WGP one year ago. His victory of England’s Reon Wong solidified his standing even more so last night. But no matter who ends up taking the KOK Middleweight Title home in May, one thing is for sure, the champion will have to defend against Jurijs Orlovs who defeated Mike Sprangh of Holland to become the number one contender in the main event.
