FightBox is proud to announce that Makowski Fighting Championship returns to live action on Saturday March 5th 2021 from Nowa Sól, Poland starting at 7:00 pm CET.
Makowski Fighting Championship teams up with the Polish Kickboxing Association (PZKB) to present the 2022 Polish National K1 Pro-Am Championships. The event features tournaments in twelve separate different divisions - eight men’s divisions and four women’s divisions. Fights will be held over two days (Friday and Saturday) with the final day of the tournament, Saturday 05.03.2022 being broadcast live on Fightbox.
There will be some familiar faces taking part in the event who we have seen compete for MFC in the past including Michał Gołębiowski, Przemysław Kacieja and current MFC 84 kg Champion Kacper Frątczak. Frątczak won the Polish National Amateur Kickboxing Championships last year at this time and is looking to add another title to his long list. Another returning champion from that tournament, which was also co-organized by MFC, is Barbara Nalepka who won the women’s -52 kg category and is looking to repeat in the pro-am. It is also of interest that former Glory fighter and current KOK Heavyweight Champion Michał Turyński has entered into the tournament and is a heavy favorite among the six entrants in the + 91 kg division. Below are all the weight divisions for both the men and the women.
