Mix Fight Championship 24 - LIVE on FightBox HD from Izmir, Turkey on Saturday January 27th at 7:45 pm CET

FightBox HD is proud to announce that Mix Fight Championship returns to live action on Saturday January 27th 2018, emanating from Izmir, Turkey at 7:45 pm Central European Time (9:45 pm Turkey).

This unique event features fights under kickboxing, MMA and boxing rules and will showcase some of the top talent in the fight game. In the main event, one of combat sports most controversial figures, Bob Sapp, will face Turkish heavy-hitter Selcuk Ustabasi under kickboxing rules. Sapp first took the fighting sports world by storm in the early 2000’s with a series of classic fights, defeating some of the sport’s biggest names such as Ernesto Hoost. However, in recent times Sapp has only won two of his last fifteen fights, most of which end in the first round without much action. Sapp explained this phenomenon in an exclusive interview with FightBox, which you can listen to here. Which Bob Sapp will we see in Izmir, Turkey and how will Ustabasi deal with this enormous American heavyweight fighter?

Plus, K-1 legend “The Dutch Lumberjack” Peter Aerts returns to the ring in an exhibition “show fight” against world-class kickboxer and Turkish celebrity Atakan “Avatar” Arslan. Also, at -70 kg, Arbi Emiev, who nearly started a riot at the last Mix Fight Championship event for striking fan favorite Enriko Kehl with illegal elbows, will take on Hasan Toy of Turkey, who earned a hard-fought win over Vang Moua at MFC 23. It’s a fight that neither man can afford to lose. The full fight card can be found below.
