FightBox is proud to announce that MMA Bushido, one Europe’s longest-running mixed martial arts promotions, returns to live action on Friday May 4th starting at 7:00 pm CEST (8:00 pm local time).
MMA Bushido, the mixed martial arts branch of KOK kickboxing, will present twelve fights inside the cage. Top fighters from eight different countries will battle for MMA glory in Vilnius, Lithuania. In the main event, one of the country’s most popular fighters, Ignas Barysas, will take on Ukraine’s Oleksii Torchuk for the MMA Bushido -70 kg title in a five round matchup. Also, one of Lithuania’s most successful combat sportsmen Mindaugas Mizgaitis will make his much anticipated MMA debut. The 38 year old Mizgaitis won a sliver medal at the 2008 Olympic games in Greco-Roman wrestling and is also a bronze medalist at the European Championships. He is now fully focused on the sport of MMA and will make his debut against Yurij Garbenko of Ukraine. The full fight card can be found below.
